A bit about Avril! 

I am an experienced wedding and funeral celebrant, and I came to this after a long career of supporting people and teams.

I have tonnes of experience of working with people, event management and facilitation. I will put all of my people and life skills into making your ceremony relaxed and personal. As Maya Angelou said 'People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel' - and this is what I bring to my ceremonies. 

I can travel across Northern Ireland for weddings, funerals or memorials. As an accredited celebrant with Humanists UK, I can officiate legal weddings ceremonies for same-sex couples and opposite-sex couples.

Even more importantly - I am responsible for two shih tzu dogs (Frankie and Flo), married to the ever-patient Fiona and aunty to Emily and Jed - all of whom will pop up on my social media from time to time!
